Article Processing Charge

The QUEST publishes quality open access articles, allowing scientific community and the public to gain free and immediate access and reuse the content freely with proper attribution.

To cover the cost for providing quality publishing service and free access to readers, starting from 1st of January 2022, all articles accepted after peer-review is subjected to article processing charges (APC) of US$ 55. The overlength pages will be charged US$ 10 per page. Detailed invoice will be emailed along with the acceptance notification. There are no charge upon submission and rejected articles, figures or supplementary data. Editorial items (Editorials, Corrections, Additions, Retractions, Letters, Comments, etc.) are published free of charge.

We also allow authors to send a request to waive the APC in stated reasons in the letter. Send the request letter to thequest@neust.journalintellect.com and the editorial board will decide on the merit of the request.

APCs cover the following:

1. The editorial procedure, including administration related to peer review, author revisions, and final decision-making.
2. Article production which includes professional language editing, type-setting, formatting, and production in PDF, XML, HTML, and other formats.
3. Article hosting and dissemination such as efforts for website maintenance and linking with indexing databases.
4. Journal administration, including managing the journal website and editorial board, and promotion of the journal among the research community.

Note: Authors from the Philippines can pay the APC in PHP according to the exchange rate at the transfer date.

Revenue Sources

The Quest Journal operates as an open-access publication, committed to making high-quality research accessible to a broad audience. To sustain operations, ensure the quality of publications, and support the journal’s mission, we rely on multiple revenue sources.

  1. Author Fees
    To support the peer review, editorial processing, and publishing services, The Quest Journal charges a publication fee for accepted manuscripts. 

  2. Certification Fees
    Authors and institutions may request certification of publication and peer review completion, for which a nominal fee is charged. 

  3. Reprints
    The Quest Journal offers high-quality reprints of published articles for authors and institutions who wish to have printed copies for their records, conferences, or academic portfolios. 

  4. Institutional Support
    The journal receives financial support from affiliated research institutions, which recognize the value of promoting and disseminating knowledge through open-access publishing. 

  5. University Support
    As part of its commitment to academic excellence and research dissemination, our partner university provides partial funding and logistical support to The Quest Journal.
